The fundamental impossibility of a complete explanation
has caused some to refuse any attempt at explanation.
This attitude amounts to a rejection of reason itself
and leaves our deep need for insight completely unsatisfied.
The select ion and critique of general basic principles,
basic laws and postulates must thus also be one of the
main objectives of world-view construction.
